The pictures I took at the Grand Canyon back in November are finally online for your viewing. On our way to the Grand Canyon, we stopped in Moab at Arches National Park. A few of the pictures are from there.

I finally started uploading some of my photographs. I’m starting with the what I’ve taken recently and I’ll work backwards through my older material. Today, you can see some shots of flowers I sent to Amy for Valentine’s Day. They certainly are beautiful! The other day I read an article with 10 tips for becoming a better photographer. One of the tips was to carry your camera with you all the time and take all kinds of pictures. Well, I had taken the pictures of the flowers and left the camera on the tripod in the kitchen which is where I happened to be the next morning, cooking breakfast. I thought it would be kind of funny to take a few pictures of my meal as it was being assembled. I remember someone kind of complaining about a friend of theirs that always posts pictures on FB of every meal they are eating, so I thought I would give that a shot. I’m pretty happy how they came out, especially considering I took them at 5am while trying to get ready to go skiing!

Is anyone out there using tumblr? What do you think? I think this looks pretty great for easily setting up your own website that revolves around a blog.
